“Florrie is a British singer, songwriter and drummer. Closely associated with the Xenomania production house, since joining as their in-house drummer in 2008 she has played live and on record for popular artists such as Girls Aloud and the Pet Shop Boys. She has drawn positive reaction from the online music community for releasing her own material in collaboration with remixers such as Fred Falke for download without charge. Several commentators have called Florrie a rising-star to watch.”

Yet we would LOVE to add that
we are one of those who seriously believe she is INDEED “a rising star to watch” ..
As for now Florrie is an unsigned artist,
who has declined several offers from big recordlabels,
because she feels and thinks that developing her sound, improving her music-making/writing and Performance skills are at this stage more important than being signed to a big label.
She also makes all her newest music available “as she goes” by putting it online on her official website to download
(in multiple formats and bitrates!!) even though all her music is also available on I-tunes (“so that fans can help me fund my music if they want to” dixit Florrie herself)

RA Proudly Presents “Balbaard”
This is what their Bio Says :
Sanne Nuyens, Sigrid Volders and David Van der Weken use acoustic and electronic instruments to create their original style of instrumental music.
In their search of athmospherical sounds they recorded their first cd-album all on their own combining cello, guitar, casio keyboards, glockenspiel, melodica and a bunch of childrens’ instruments.
It became a very diverse mix of Instrumental Folk, ambient, acoustic, minimal,contemporary classical and adventurous electronic music.
The cd’s artwork was created by the germandesigner/art collective Hui-Hui (http://hui-hui.de).
A Balbaard live show is a unique experience with a combination of live music and film or visuals conceptualized for each location.
They played for instance on the roof of the MUHKA museum in Antwerp, made a music-installation for the Museum of fine arts Antwerp, played at Beursschouwburg Brussel, at concept store RA13 aswell as live music venues like the AB-Club, Scheld’apen, Recyclart, etc.
